Phoenix Events in February 2019
While most areas of the United States are getting pounded with snow, ice, rain and sleet, most of Phoenix is sunny and oh so bright. The snowbirds have returned to Phoenix to capitalize on the heat and the radiating sun. Most people are also now ready to capitalize on some fun events around town. Here is what is happening in Phoenix this month.
Waste Management Open
Although the Waste Management Open technically begins in January, this is still a super fun event that goes into February. Golf lovers rejoice as Phoenix hosts the top golfers in the PGA to the valley of the sun. There will be food, cold drinks, celebrities and even live music for participants to enjoy as part of the Coors Light Birds Nest. This year, be on the lookout for celebrities like Michael Phelps, Patrick Peterson, Archie Bradley and Justin Verlander.

Arizona Beer Week
A celebration surrounding beer and beer craftsmanship is what started the Arizona Beer Week 8 years ago. This year, the festivities last more than a week and are held all across the state. The Arizona Craft Brewer’s Guild asks local breweries and restaurants to hold events during this time to support local brewers.

Buckeye Air Fair
This year, the Buckeye Air Fair is set to feature the Copperstate Fly-In along with a 2 hour air show each day. “See vintage and military aircraft, action-packed demonstrations, AZ SciTech exhibitions, live entertainment and much more!” There’s plenty of fun for adults and kids alike. Grab the family and enjoy a day or two around some amazing aircrafts.

Glendale Chocolate Affaire
Get ready for some super sweet treats! Each year, Cerreta Candy Company in Glendale hosts the Glendale Chocolate Affaire. You can expect free tours of the candy company, free samples of candy and the ability to indulge in chocolate candies from nearly 40 other chocolate makers.

Street Eats Food Truck Festival
Enjoy an array of food from over 55 food truck vendors at this fun festival. Each vendor will also be offering a $2 sample so you can try quite the variety. “ The event will include live bands, lawn games, eating contests, local vendor marketplace, kids zone, cooking classes, and more.”
