- Lights of the World
The Arizona Fairgrounds are home to a brilliant show of Christmas spirit called Lights of the World. With over six million lights, free carnival rides and acrobat shows this event is not one to miss this year.

- McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park
Located in Scottsdale, the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park presents Holiday Lights every year. You can witness an amazing display of holiday lights set along a beautiful park, while riding aboard a steam engine. Enjoy a beautiful winter wonderland, Charros Carousel ride and spend time with Santa. Entry to the park is free, but a nominal fee is charged to ride the train and carousel.
If you are looking to stay put in your car to see the lights, then a ticket to Illumination is what you are seeking. Turn up the radio and get ready to hear beautiful music as the lights dance and dazzle.
With locations in North Phoenix and Tempe, this Christmas light display is truly spectacular. It is deemed the world’s largest animated drive-through holiday light show and it is right here in the Phoenix valley.
If after the show you want to get out and stretch your legs and let the kids run loose, there is shopping area and marketplace to eat, play and visit with Santa.
- Glendale Glitters
The city of Glendale lights up every Christmas season with over 1.6 million LED lights illuminating over 16 blocks of the downtown area. It is a magical display of holiday cheer and brilliance. There’s new festivities each weekend the admission is free.
A fabulous Phoenix holiday tradition, the Phoenix Zoo lights up with Zoolights. Enjoy the wildest creatures and millions of Christmas lights that make the zoo a magical place for kids and adults alike. New this year for you and your family to enjoy are live reindeer, Stingray Bay and a 4-D theater that is all included in the price of admission.
- Festival of Lights Ahwatukee
Located in the Desert Foothills Park, the Festival of Lights in Ahwatukee is definitely the place for lights! The Million White Lights illuminate Chandler Blvd and make every tree and cactus sparkle and shine. The display runs through early January, so you have plenty of time to enjoy the dazzling display.
- Christmas at the Princess
To spend the most wonderful time of the year in the most wonderful place, you need to head to Christmas at the Princess. You can hitch a ride on the Princess Express Train and enjoy over 4.5 million LED lights through the majestic lagoons. Additionally, guests can enjoy S’mores Land, Frosty’s Ferris Wheel, Polar Glide Ice Slide, Enchanted Plaza Experience and a narrated Nativity Garden show.
- Las Noches Luminarias
Each year, the Desert Botanical Gardens hosts the beautiful Las Noches Luminarias. Combined with a musical component by A Light and Sound Experience by Klip Collective, you will experience lights and sounds at every turn. The desert will light up like nowhere else in the valley. This experience is truly unique and fun for the whole family.
- Boat Parade
Get ready to see a parade of lights as boats set sail across Tempe Town Lake. This year, you and your family can experience these lights on Saturday, December 8th. Don’t worry, there’s more than just a parade of lights. There will be food vendors, a holiday marketplace, selfies with Santa and live entertainment. Grab a cold drink and enjoy a holiday event that is sure to please everyone.
